A group of charitable L.A.ers rocked out gallery style on Saturday night at the 'Rock For Locks Of Love' fund-raising event.

The Kantor Gallery got it right this weekend with their charity event for Locks Of Love, a non-profit providing financially disadvantaged children suffering from long-term hair loss associated with medical illnesses with hairpieces. The gallery featured works by many artists, but the highlights were Paul Mitchell's hair exhibit and Elijah Blue's installation. Nobody knows hair like Paul Mitchell; the man has built an empire out of his coiffing expertise, and his exhibition of innovative hair styles definitely didn't disappoint. After being wow-ed by Mitchell's work, attendees pondered Elijah Blue's installation which commented on the relationship between celebrities and commerce-- very appropriate for Los Angeles.

The night continued with awesome performances by Ship Of The Rising Sun, BLOK and Leslie Presti & The Masses, and a proper jam out. With all proceeds going to Locks of Love, guests enjoyed the night as they sipped and danced, and taking pleasure in knowing they were getting down for a great cause.
