Other Details: LACMA hosted a private reception for the work of couturiers Kate and Laura Mulleavy of Rodarte, whose extraordinary pastel gowns comprise The Fra Angelico collection, inspired by a 14th century Italian monk (naturally) are now on display at LACMA. The event was joined by famed conceptual artist John Balderassi and art aficionados Diane Keaton and Joel Silver. The dresses will become part of the LACMA's permanent collection, and will remain on display in the museum's Italian Renaissance gallery until February.
