Mark Salling's Record Release At The BBM Lounge

Last night's BBM Lounge party was the only time being on your phone all night does NOT necessarily mean that you are too socially awkward to have normal conversations...

BBM and the lovely folks at Xomad hosted Mark Salling's Record Release Party-BBM Lounge dual celebration at MyHouse. Mark was rocking his signature "Puck hawk" and looked pretty relaxed. I guess we would be too if we were the star of a hit TV show AND releasing an album. Naturally, he played a few tracks from his new album including the title track, "Pipe Dreams".  So, bet you're wondering if we think he should keep his day job. We say do both. For now.

Mark greeted friends and guests like Reid Ewing and Karina Smirnoff, and party - goers seemed pretty happy with an open bar and a photo booth with props readily available. VIP guests were also able to snap some pics with the man of the hour, on the built-in red carpet upstairs in the VIP section. An added bonus (if you aren't a loser like us without a Blackberry) and had your RIM device handy: having your drinks delivered to your table via BBM orders!

Since the event, we've been thinking hard about converting to a Blackberryism and BBMing everyone we know so we can throw a party to celebrate. And then maybe Mark Salling will come sing at that too. Hey, a girl can dream.
