Since their launch this summer, (No Subject) has already gained a reputation for being one of the coolest new artistic agents who support creativity in many forms. Now they can add hosting the most creative garage sale in L.A. to their resume!
(No Subject) is all about ingenuity, imagination, and originality, all of which characterized their Garage Sale--one we can safely say is the most artistic of its kind. Chelsea Matthews and Jackie Johnson, the two ladies behind (No Subject), recruited some of L.A.'s most creative minds such as Steven Shein, Geri Hirsch, Alisa Gould Simon, Eddie Brakha, Sally Bohan, Melissa Coker, Samuel Moyer Furniture, and Topsy Design among many others to contribute their coolest "stuff" from which they created an art installation. Contributed items included a combination of clothing, furniture, photography, jewelry and prints so there was something to spark everyone's interest. But the project was taken one step further, doubling as a garage sale with all items of the installation available for purchase.
The Garage Sale drew a solid crowd of young artsy Angelenos who had no problem mingling in the relaxed atmosphere of Downtown concept space, The Hi-Lite. The night offered guests a generous dose of culture, with art, good music, libations, interactive photo booth fun, and some found art objects to take home to their collections. Cheers to another great artful event, (No Subject)!
