Thursday evening, Leica rolled out the red carpet for the launch of its newest space on West Hollywood's Beverly Blvd. For the first time, guests were invited to explore the three-story Leica Store and Gallery Los Angeles, which boasts a gallery, retail space and book store. The grand opening also marked the release of international denim brand G-Star and the German camera maker's RAW Leica, a special edition Leica D-Lux 6 series collaboration. The one-off camera is a worldwide collectible available for purchase from Leica boutiques and stores and the
online G-Star store for $1,150.
The grand opening showcased the gallery space's first photography exhibition, debuting the works of Mary Ellen Mark, Yariv Milchan, and Seal for guests to peruse as they scoped out Leica's new L.A. digs. Among the many notables in attendance were Peter Facinelli, Marcia Cross, Serinda Swan, Estella Warren, and Russell Simmons.
