Last Sunday, Ramones fans and friends came together for the 6th Annual Johnny Ramone Tribute at the Hollywood Forever Cemetery.  After the pioneer of punk lost his battle with prostate cancer in 2004, his widow, Linda, has presented the tribute to raise money for the USC Westside Prostate Cancer Center.

Each year, the tribute includes film screenings of Johnny's favorite movies. This year's movie was the 1935 classic, The Bride of Frankenstein. To really get guests into the spirit of things, actors dressed as characters from the movie and haunted the cemetery as they posed for pictures with attendees. Other special guests included P.J. Soles, Dey Young, and Metallica's Kirk Hammett, all close to Ramone before his death, came out to help remember their dear friend.

With so many loved ones and a crowd of adoring fans picnicking and enjoying the evening while raising money for cancer research, there's hardly a better way to remember and pay tribute to a rock legend.
