You are being honored tonight with the Loop Award, what does this award and this organization mean to you?
It feels very undeserving for me, because you know, it’s always kind of weird getting an award for something that you just feel you don’t deserve. My mom has lupus, she has had it for 16 years, and she is the only reason why I am involved in charity. I feel like she should be getting the award for being as strong as she is. So for me, I want to just use whatever power I can to bring awareness and attention to it and try to educate people as much as possible.
Who is your superhero and why?
My mom, she is, because without her I wouldn’t even be here, she is my rock.
