Academia is calling out all those airbrushed photos of celebs and models in magazines and ads: a Dartmouth professor and student have developed a software program that is able to objectively determine how much images of people have been Photoshopped. The amount of retouching is ranked on a scale from 1-5 designed to mimic human perceptions of how much a raw image differs from an altered one you'd find in magazine and ads. [Stylelite]
