Last week, over 350 of L.A.'s finest filled the Hyatt Regency Century Plaza in Century City in support of the Friends of the Israel Defense Forces (FIDF) to help celebrate the launch of their "Make a Difference" fundraising campaign and Israel's independence with a fancy affair and glamorous fashion show.
Coinciding with the Israel's Independence Day, guests came out to celebrate the country's 63rd anniversary as a sovereign nation and kick off FIDF's "Make A Difference" initiative, a campaign to benefit the well-being and education of the Israeli Defense Forces soldiers. As part of the campaign, Israeli humanitarian and fashion insider Iftach Yavets created a "Make A Difference" t-shirt for purchase HERE, seen on many guests in attendance.
The night featured a fashion show presenting the designs of top Jewish and Israeli L.A.-based designers such as Dina Bar-el, Gypsy 05, Biya/Johnny Was, Pure by Raw 7, Sledge USA, Tal Sheyn, Treasure Rock, Rouge and Natalia Romano who each created one-of-a-kind-looks that were auctioned off in a silent auction following the runway show.
Guests included many noteworthy figures in L.A.'s fashion, entertainment, Jewish and Israeli communities including Won-G, Macy Gray, Shirly Brener, Illana Shoshan, Dalit, Miri Nash, Phoebe Price, Lorielle New, Jacob Diamond, and Nicholas Bowes.
