Nats proudly came out as trans in 2021 and has always been an outspoken advocate for the LGBTQ+ community. Alongside his mother and brother, Nats has supported and worked closely with the Los Angeles LGBT Center, GLAAD, and the Trevor Project. After the tragic 2017 Pulse nightclub shooting, Nats painted a mural honoring the victims, which was displayed outside the venue.
As for fearlessly sharing his journey on social media?
"It's more important now than ever to show up with as many people as possible and to be as loud as possible, and just prove to people that we're not going to be erased, we're not going to be scared and made to hide away," he says. "That's why I take my platform so seriously, and live so openly and loudly. Because the more voices that are being heard, the harder it is to make us disappear."
