How It Works: Pay using a credit card linked to your
Uber account from your iPhone or Android app. See a real-time map of the nearby cars available in your area and how soon one can be there to pick you up, depending on whether you select a black town car or SUV. Upon placing your order, the app will tell you the name of your driver with a photo and the driver's rating and you'll receive a text message with the your driver's ETA an another when your ride is arriving.
Price: 40-100% more than a cab, tip is included.
Features:
- UBERx, which rolled out in beta mode in March, offers prices only 10-25% more than a cab by using a hybrid vehicle.
