via @candypaintla Candy Paint, proving that all good things really do come in threes, was developed by a talented team of designer Melody Ehsani, blogger Aureta Thomollari, and nail art guru Yoko Sakakura. With a combination that artistic, how could this studio not be amazing? Candy paint, which opened early this year, lives in the back of the Melody Ehsani store on Fairfax. The skilled nail artists carefully craft intricate designs on top of a gel base (at $45) either in paint or 3D accents (or a combination of both!) at $5-10 per nail. The studio itself has a very retro vibe with its white walls and neon red Candy Paint sign, an image very fitting of the studio’s namesake--a special type of paint used on classic cars.
