Wurstküche
What we once lovingly referred to as a hipster sausage paradise, both the DTLA and Venice Wurstküche locations have established themselves as L.A.'s top purveyors of exotic sausages. Long wooden communal  benches and tables, unfinished brick walls and concrete floors stray from the old, rustic aesthetic of most German-inspired establishments for a more industrial, minimal style. Unlike many of the traditional sausages you'll find on menus, Wurstküche serves its famous selection of classic and exotic (crocodile and pork, pheasant, and rattlesnake and rabbit to name a few) sausages on freshly baked buns. Order whichever tickles your fancy with their thick-cut Belgian fries and homemade dipping sauces. Wash it down with your choice of 24 imported German and Belgian biers on tap, as well as 24 German and Belgian bottled varieties. Although you won't find servers in lederhosen or traditional Bavarian live music, Wurstküche will more that satisfy your worst Oktoberfest bier and sausage cravings.
