Cut Copy- Free Your Mind
Australian electronic dance group, Cut Copy, shine on this month with a fourth album release entitled
Free Your Mind. Members Dan Whitford, Tim Hoey, Bennett Foddy, and Mitchell Scott have made their mark through their bright and sparkly, 70s and 80s derived vintage disco and synth pop, reminiscent of a digital-beat heavy New Order.
Free Your Mind arrives with the same "two-step till you can't two-step anymore" groovy feel, so much so, the band has a
practically naked Alexander Skarsgard running through the forest. The opening track "Free Your Mind," has the spinal back of bongos alternating with echos of "Freedom!" It seems Cut Copy has taken their optimistic consistency to greater heights with this release. "Reach the sky" this month with Cut Copy.
