The Torch Has Passed At Sunset Tower... And At San Vicente Bungalows?

For years there was Dimitri. 

Next there was Gabé. 

And now, there's Geshie.

Hollywood's most powerful position has traded hands once again... And no, Bob Iger hasn't decided to fake retire for a second time - there's a new Maitre D' at The Tower Bar!

In a post over the weekend, Sunset Tower shared, "Our beloved, darling Gabé Doppelt is passing the torch of Tower Bar maître d' to Geshie Wilmot. Thank you Gabé for the incredible 5 years of service and style. Geshie, welcome to the family!"

Geshie, a British born musician with a heavy background in client relations and PR, will take the reins of L.A.'s premier power spot. Hotelier Jeff Klein definitely has a talent for picking people so we're sure she'll be up to the job.

And just what exactly is the job? Setting the scene, escorting movie stars, schmoozing studio executives, playing musical chairs with producers, connecting all of the city's moving dots - knowing who's who and who doesn't like who and who! 

Basically, if you're out West, you'll certainly want to stop by to make her acquaintance.

Word on the street is that former Maitre D' Gabé Doppelt will be staying in Klein's orbit, moving to New York to head up his latest project, the Manhattan outpost of San Vicente Bungalows. And that'd totally make sense. After all, when OG Maitre D' Dimitri Dimitrov left Tower Bar it was to go run SVB.
