Other details: Gia Coppola launched her new wine label “Gia by Gia Coppola” which features a Pinot Noir, a Pinot Grigio, and a Frizzante Chardonnay. At the launch, wine aficionados mingled around the pool at The Terrace at The Sunset Tower Hotel. The deck boasted a perfect view of Los Angeles for guests to enjoy as they sipped on Gia’s wine trio. DJ Michelle Pesce spun her pink turntables with hot beats all night. Gia and Francis Ford Coppola were seen talking to various guests about the new wine label. We sat down with Gia for an exclusive interview where we asked her about why she wanted to craft her own wine. She said, “I grew up with my family’s vineyard...and having had that experience, I felt like I was ready.” She went on to say, “I tried to make a wine that I think my friends would like...at first I was unsure about what was the best way to approach it, but at the end of the day, you stay true to yourself. I used my photography for a guiding point for what my aesthetic is, to kind of keep it lo-fi and not too pretentious. It’s in the moment.”
