A Santa Monica landmark institution since 1989, Back on the Beach, is literally on the beach with outside tables right in the sand. With a menu of ranging from breakfast to dinner of classic items like omelettes, a wedge salad, burgers and sandwiches, you can find almost anything to satisfy whatever you're craving. Considering the phenomenal weather, we say hit this place up during the mid-day and order yourself a some lunch with a tall glass of cold brew. Nothing is better than digging your toes into the sand while you munch out on a delicious meal with breathtaking views of the ocean, mountains, pier, and Catalina Island if it's really clear.
