Simmzy’s in downtown Manhattan Beach is an intimate, open-air beach bar started by brothers Chris and Mike Simms who both love drinking and eating (in that order) and used to brew beer in their garages. Their 24 rotating taps are always offering the best-of-the-best from the craft beer scene, curated personally by Chris a.k.a. Big Simmzy.  The daily tap selection is listed on two giant chalkboards that also detail each beer’s alcoholic percentage. If beer isn’t really your thing, they also have a rotating list of 30 wines by the glass and a food menu that features burgers, sandwiches and salads with seasonal and locally sourced ingredients.
