DO Pick A Meet-Up Spot/Time-Stamp Your Texts
Music Festival 101: when tens/hundreds of thousands of people gather in one crowd and start drinking/dancing/doing drugs, two things happen: friends get separated from friends, and cellphones don't work. These are complementary problems, because when you try to text your friends to see where they went, that text message is going to be queued up behind everyone else's texts asking their friends the exact same thing, and nobody's going to get anything until hours later. That's why you should pick a meetup spot ahead of time and if plans change, always add the time to your messages, like so:
