DO Have A Place To Stay/Transportation
Some things you should probably know about the Las Vegas Motor Speedway, if you've never been there before. One, the parking lots, like the place itself, are massive, two, they don't allow sleeping in your car or overnight camping in the parking lot, and three, it's 15 miles away from the north end of the Strip. All of this means that you're probably not going to get away with showing up in Vegas with no lodging or transportation plans and just winging it. Cabs back and forth from the Strip or Downtown Vegas are going to cost you around $60 a pop also, so plan on either having someone in your crew stay sober enough to not get thrown in jail or spring for the $70 a person shuttle service, but be warned: reports from shuttle users last year include a lot of waiting around.
