Sleigh Bells at Fox Theater Pomona

There's probably a decent argument to be made that Sleigh Bells' (deservedly) universally beloved first album, Treats, sometimes the uniqueness of their sound over the structure of their songs. Granted, the sound was unique enough that this was hardly a problem, but on their second album, Reign Of Terror, which just dropped in February, there are no such conflicts, as Derek and Alexis have doubled-down on their songwriting game, allowed us to occasionally peek behind the wall of noise, and still come out the other side with an album that brings everything you love about Sleigh Bells and some new stuff, too, what they call "the music equivalent of a beautiful shotgun to the head." Since they won't be making the trip to Coachella this year, it's all the more reason why you should make the much shorter drive to Pomona while you have the chance. [Details] [via]
