Slide #1

The fifth annual Sunset Strip Music Festival kicked off Thursday night with an all-star tribute show to The Doors featuring the band's surviving members at the House of Blues. From there, it was a full weekend of day-to-night non-stop rock, and even some hip-hop and electronic live jamming on Sunset Strip. The legendary drag with what is probably the richest history of debauchery for any two-mile stretch on the planet was blocked off from Doheny to San Vicente for the event. Between two large outdoor stages and venues like The Roxy and Whisky A Go-Go, the weekend was packed with performances by everyone from Marilyn Manson, Mickey Avalon, and Bad Religion to RZA, Steve Aoki and Far East Movement. From the shows to the people and all the madness and body ink in between, click through the slideshow for a full photo recap of this year's Sunset Strip Music Festival.
