A mass exodus of L.A. fans came prepared to the venue hauling coolers, blankets and lots of wine for the picnic-style event in the legendary Hollywood Forever Cemetery Saturday evening. Just to clarify for those who have never been, concerts and events like the Cinespia movie screenings are held on an unplotted field beyond all the graves at the far end of the cemetery (don't worry, we're not using the dearly departed's headstones for lumbar support). While splayed out on blankets across the field, the crowd enjoyed opening sets from UK band 2:54 and an impressive performance from Spanish DJ/producer John Talabot. But it was time to stand when The xx took the stage.
