Monks of Mellonwah
After winning 'Best International Rock Band' at the LA Music Awards in 2012, the Aussie prog rockers, Monks of Mellonwah, are back with their first full-length album, Turn The People, as well as what's sure to be a raved-about show at the Viper Room in Hollywood this month. The quartet's distinct brand of alternative sound brings together danceable electronica, fierce rock 'n' roll instrumentals, and radio-ready lyrics for the perfect mix of pop and rock - all flavored with a chill West Coast vibe similar to that of the Red Hot Chili Peppers. Sure, Australia might be on the other side of the world, but just like in Cali, life's a beach.
