M83 with the Hollywood Bowl Orchestra @ Hollywood Bowl
French ambient pop/electro mastermind Anthony Gonzalez AKA M83 is making his Hollywood Bowl debut for an unforgettable night of sparkling, synthy music that has won over critics and the masses alike, but this time with a team of world-class orchestra musicians backing his sound.
Hurry Up, We're Dreaming is widely acknowledged as one of the best albums of 2011, achieving the rare feat of creating two CDs worth of songs to love and listen to, none of which are skip-overs. M83's live performances are equally compelling and magnificent, composed of layered instrumental sounds just like their studio recordings, beautiful vocals and a spellbound audience clapping along to the beat. This particular show, however, is going to be a truly exceptional experience, not just for its world-famous outdoor venue, but because M83 will be accompanied by the Hollywood Bowl Orchestra for the performance (!!!).
