"Big Top" @ Los Angeles State Historic Park
Filled with all the commodities and oddities of a circus, "Big Top" performs in the round at the Los Angeles State Historic Park under a traditional big top tent. Conducted by show ringleader, Edward Sharpe & The Magnetic Zeros, guests are invited to "Come one, come all!" for an evening much more than your average clown show and balloon animals. An intricate night of music, vaudeville comedy, contortionists, acrobats, puppetry, and interactive performance art beckons, along with a unique farmer's market and hefty beer garden. Under the big top tent of 360 degree-tiered seating, performances following Edward Sharpe include: Chris Trew, Fool's Gold, Lucent Dossier Experience, Scott Land Marionettes, Christopher Wonder, Torque Method, Rocco Deluca, Cleo Viper, Cillie Barnes, Henry Wolfe, and Frank Fairfield. With a colorful parade of spectacular display, this all ages, four-night festival will be sure to beat any Barnum & Bailey's!
