Get ready to rock a bikini for two days and feel like you are back in high school or on
spraaang breaaak as the Vans US Open of Surfing stages free concerts on Huntington Beach, surfing competitions, and skateboarding spectacles to create a massive beachside party. Although the event rounds up the local teens, don't let your age hold you back. After all, if you're over 21 you can escape the teenage wasteland by heading to any of the local bars all along the strip. Getting there to see artists like Modest Mouse and Twin Shadow for free shouldn't take much convincing but we'd like to add that this is also a wonderful excuse to act like a teenager again, and how much fun was your 16-year-old self?
