Before the rally, the Stanley Cup and the Campbell Bowl (which the Kings won when they beat the Coyotes to win the Western Conference) are brought into Staples. Hockey superstition holds that players aren't supposed to touch or pick up the Conference trophy before the Stanley Cup Finals, or else they'll be fated to lose, so now is the first time the Kings can embrace either piece of hardware safely. Of course, with the Stanley Cup on hand, I can't imagine the Campbell Bowl gets much love.
