Today's Giveaway: Advance Screening Tickets To "Oz The Great And Powerful"

With Oscars fever in the air, what better way to get in a film loving mood than to watch one? We know it's always better when you beat the crowd and get to be first at something, so we're giving away one pair of tickets to an advanced screening of Oz The Great And Powerful on Monday, March 4th at El Capitan Theatre. That's four days before the movie opens to the public!

Oz The Great And Powerful tells a familiar story from a different angle than the one we're used to, focusing on the every so mysterious Oz himself. The movie has an all star cast including James Franco, Mila Kunis, Michelle Williams and Rachel Weisz and takes place before Dorothy even entered Oz. It takes that Wicked interpretation of the story even further (think of it as a kind of Hobbit-esque prequel). We think it sounds pretty awesome, especially since we're pretty big fans of Franco. To make it even better, it's being screened at the best theatre in Los Angeles (in our humble opinion), El Capitan Theatre. The place is a Disney flagship venue with a storied past: it actually used to be a vaudeville theatre in the early 20th century and was restored to all its whimsical and baroque glamour a few decades ago. The venue is also known for giving a live stage show before screenings. This is definitely the best thing happening on a Monday night. See below for the super easy way to enter the giveaway.

All you need to enter for a chance to win a pair of tickets to Oz The Great And Powerful (courtesy of our good friends at Disney) on Monday, March 4 (7 p.m. showing) is a Facebook or Twitter account. Just head to the Guest of a Guest Facebook page, make sure you 'like' us and tag yourself in this photo, and/or follow us on Twitter and Tweet @GofGLA telling us why you should win (doing both ups your chances)! If you're a really huge Disney movie fan, or even just a fan of films in general, you should try to convince us to choose you in a comment underneath the Facebook photo too. We'll pick our winner MONDAY, February 25 by 1pm PST so hurry up and enter!
