In Miami there's a tiny neighborhood that's sprouting much like Bushwick did; the emergence of art on the buildings, not in the form of unreadable graffiti but rather magnificent murals, has created a haven for artists. Wynwood is right outside of Miami Beach, and once you cross the bridge it fells like Basel off-season. Wynwood Kitchen + Bar is in the middle of it all - the global Latino eatery's backyard patio faces Wynwood Walls, a magnificent gallery of murals painted by contemporary artists. It's the perfect place to bring a date - sit in the back patio under trees surrounded by art and sip mojitos while you try their tuna tartare, grilled octopus and seared duck breast (best we've had). The restaurant pays close attention to detail, from their staff to their food. It's one place you can't miss when in Miami.
