Malin Akerman is yet another surprising multi-talented performer. While starring in the 2003 film
Utopian Society, she was approached by the director Francesco Sondelli to sing some songs with his band, Ozono. After immediately awing him, she was asked to be the lead singer of the band. With a name change to
The Petalstones and some hard work, they released their album titled
Stung in 2005. Although Akerman's acting career took over her schedule, she hasn't strayed too far from
The Petalstones, seeing as she married the drummer Roberto Zincone.
