9. Jimmy Castor Dies at 64
Jimmy Castor was the leader of the Jimmy Castor Bunch, a funk and soul band popular in the 70s. He died yesterday in Las Vegas yesterday of unknown causes at 64 years old. Castor was nicknamed the "the Everything Man" because he was saxophonist and percussionist who played a broad range of R&B and dance music. Some of his hits include: "Troglodyte (Cave Man)," "It's Just Begun," "The Bertha Butt Boogie." Castor's songs have been sampled by hip-hop moguls like Kanye West and N.W.A. R.I.P Jimmy!
