3. Drake is the executive producer for Aaliyah's posthumous album. For anyone who hasn't realized it yet, for someone whom he has never met, Drake has one of the strangest obsessions with Aaliyah. But can you blame him? Aaliyah held a lyrical weightiness, lyrics Drake has even assimilated in to his own music. Drake plans on utilizing all of the unused/unheard recordings Aaliyah left behind. Along with Drake, Timbaland, and probably R. Kelly and Missy Elliot will be producing tracks on the album. Recently at the OVO Festival in Toronto, Drake previewed the duet of his dreams featuring Aaliyah.
