2. Passion Pit cancels July tour dates. Just as they are gearing up to release their sophomore album,
Gossamer, lead singer Michael Angelakos
announced,
"In order for me to ensure that there will be no further disruptions, I am going to take the time to work on improving my mental health. For now, I'd like to thank all of our fans for their understanding. I hope to see all of you very soon in a much different light."
The album, set to release July 24, is projected to be the album of the year. It's the perfect mix of indie/rock and even some R&B, with his sharp snares and romantic harmonies.
