Nas releases final album with Def Jam

1. Nas releases his 10th and final album with Def Jam Records. Called, Life Is Good, the album was released today and represents his much needed transition to a new life. From "Daughters" to "Cherry Wine," each song is more representative of Nas than ever before. His album cover features a green dress, which belong to his now ex-wife Kelis. [DigitalSpy] On using the dress in his album he said,
"I found [the dress] in my house and thought, 'It's going somewhere'. Either on the cover of my album, or burning in a garbage can. I was angry when I first found it. Hurt and angry - but I don't think she left it deliberately to hurt me. It's just part of the dress, so I don't know where the rest of it is. But it made all the sense in the world for me to hold on to that. I guess that's just my personality."
Nas is also having a free concert at the MLB cave in NoHo this Wednesday, performing songs from the album. Go HERE for more information. Check out "Daughters" below! See also: [Last Night's Parties: Moet Rose Lounge Presents Nas' Life Is Good] [Photo: Jay-Z, Nas via Twitter]
