Mayor Michael Bloomberg was honored by The Hetrick-Martin Institue's Emery Awards last night at a star-studded gala held at Cipriani Wall Street. Multiple Grammy Award-winning singer Jennifer Holliday wowed the crowd with an amazing performance while Kimora Lee hosted the event. -
Singer Lance Bass, filmmaker Dustin Lance Black, actor Cheyenne Jackson, and actor Heather Matarazzzo were among those in attendance.
The Emery Awards are an annual award given to honor individuals and corporations that exemplify the Hetrick-Martin Institute's mission of providing a safe and supportive environment for all young people, as well as those who have demonstrated outstanding leadership within the LGBTQ community.
