A bubbly personality bent on inspiring women to be their most confident selves, Amanda Smith is perhaps most easily described as a Social Connector. As founder of Dallas Girl Gang, she's given the women in her community the online and in-person opportunities to connect with amazing people and amazing resources, and experience the chance to grow in both life and business.

    Who inspires you?
Jaclyn Johnson of Create & Cultivate, my friend Jordan Keucker.

What do you hope to inspire in other women?
I hope to launch other women into action to pursue dreams, build relationships, and get real with people whatever that may look like.

Is there an example you can share of how another woman has lifted you up?
My mentor Dr. Cortney Baker has really spoken to me of my value and talents as well as friends like Liz Navarro, Jessica Stewart, and so many more. I want women to know that they are powerful, have so much influence to just be kind to people.

How has confidence played a role in your life?
I would say that as a young girl and even into my teen years, I was shy and reserved with my peers. As an adult, I really hold to what Amy Poehler has said before “There’s power in looking silly and not caring that you do.” I am 100% extroverted and embrace it to the fullest.

What's the best part of your job?
I get to empower women each day and be a source of light and positivity in a wild world.

What are you most proud of?
I am wildly proud of our diversity of members. All backgrounds, ethnicities, professions, life experience…

What has been the most useful advice you've received? Launch and adjust. Listen to your audience and SERVE SERVE SERVE SERVE then sell.

What is your motto or mantra?
Our company motto is “You Can Sit With Us.”

What are you most excited for next?
November 3rd we are joining forces with StyleCon Social Summit in Dallas which is HUGE!!!! Then, Fall 2020 will be our third conference for female entrepreneurs and the biggest and best yet!
