Down on Canal, Boo-Hooray is showcasing a collection of publications from Ed Sanders’ Fuck You Press. Sanders, a Beat poet and proprietor of East Village underground Peace Eye Bookshop, documented the social change and sexual liberation that defined the 1960s.The Boo-Hooray exhibition includes Fuck You, A Magazine of the Arts, which ran from 1962 to 1965 and featured contributions from Allen Ginsburg, Andy Warhol, Leroi Jones, William Burroughs, and their contemporaries.
