Matthias Bitzer, Saturnine Swing
Taking over both Marianne Boesky Gallery spaces,
Saturnine Swing is the first NYC solo exhibition of Matthias Bitzer, an artist just as multi-layered and ambitious as his work proves to be. Inspired by both science and literature, Bitzer creates narrative conglomerations of images and texts, portraiture and geometrics, paintings and drawings in order to produce a metaphysical space that challenges our traditional conception of reality.
