Dustin Yellin
Dustin Yellin expresses his curiosity with distinct, multi-dimensional images comprised of objects that rest beneath layers of glass. His sculptures, which are often made up of objects he has collected over time, have turned that curiosity into a storied career. Recently the artist has been focusing on a film about a small cannibalistic tribe from Ecuador, but he is gaining the most attention for his massive art space, Pioneer Works, in Red Hook. The space has evolved into a non-profit institution where artists create pieces, hold exhibitions, teach classes, and throw events.
