7. 191st Street Pedestrian Tunnel
The mural in the tunnel was commissioned by the MTA and features work by Nick Kuszyk and 5 other artists. Walking through the tunnel is described as a transcendental experience. Maybe 191st is not your metro stop but it's definitely worth the $2.75. Queue up some Tame Impala on Spotify and allow yourself to be transported into the murals.
