Cleansers

Last year we talked about specific cleansers for various skin types - since then we've (combination skin) only used a balm cleanser, specifically InstaNatural's Rose Makeup Cleansing Balm which combines the properties of rose and Manuka Honey with various oils. It takes all our waterproof makeup off and leaves our skin hydrated and smooth. Thrice a week we use Tula's Probiotic Face Wash right after the balm cleanser, and that cleans even deeper. The probiotics help with conditioning as sometimes gel cleansers can get a little dry. Another great balmy wash is HoliFrog's Kissimmee Vitamin F wash.

We also love Sigi's Skin Kaleanser because it re-balances your skin's pH levels - usually face washes throw pH balance off and that's why we need toner to re-balance it. You don't need toner with this cleanser, so it's a great travel companion as it does the job of two.

Epionce's Milky Lotion Cleanser is amazing for dry, sensitive skin and rosacia - it's the ideal cleanser for post procedure skin and works incredibly well with combination/oily skin too. If you have oily skin I would stay away from balms and try Lancer's The Method: Cleanse - it is a lightly foaming cleanser, so it won't dry you out. It resurfaces with rice amino acid complex, so breakouts will be few and far between.
