Repair
Everyone needs a good mask once or twice a week. There's a bevy of masks we use consistently, some before others and a few we feel comfortable using every day, like the Elina Organics Sahara Souffle. This gentle, hydrating face mask is made with camel milk, carrot seed oil, radish root ferment, snow mushroom and sunflower extract. It's an extremely delicate mask that tightens and balances. It also contains alpha hydroxy acids and proteins that speed up cell regeneration. We like to use after we use Mary's Methods PURIFY Dead Sea Mud Face Mask. Dead Sea Mud is naturally rich in minerals and acts as a cleanser because of how deep it penetrates the surface of the skin.
For those with flaky dead skin, hear us out - do not scrub your face more than once a month. Use a gel exfoliator like Skin Actives Pumpkin Enzyme Exfoliator Peel. Don't let the price fool you, it really works and is best used for sensitive skin as it provides moisture while it's exfoliating. The gel is made with pure fermented pumpkin fruit rich with Vitamins A, C, & E along with fruit enzymes that naturally exfoliate. It's the potassium and zinc that combat redness, so you don't look like you've exfoliated. Summer Fridays also makes a great pumpkin exfoliator - the Overtime Mask - mixed with apricot seed powder and oat kernel proteins. It's more of a cream with gentle jojoba beads and we suggest using it twice a month.
After you rinse off your masks, try Monestery's Attar Repair Concentrate, a lightweight concentrated repair balm that soothes the skin and protects it, sealing it from environmental factors. It is also highly antibacterial, making it the perfect after-care product.
Other masks we fell in love with include MZ Skin's Vitamin Infused Facial Treatment Mask, Context Skin White Charcoal Detox Mask, Laneige Cica Sleeping Mask, Alpyn Beauty Calming Midnight Mask, emerginC Hydra-Repair Capsules.
