Moisturizer: Oily Skin
Before applying moisturizer (or oil) make sure to let the previous products fully absorb. If you feel you want to finish off with an oil instead of a moisturizer, skip to the next slide. We will split this section into skin types, because it's important to give your skin the right amount of moisture. Too much or too little will cause breakouts and and dry skin.
If You Have Oily Skin:
StriVectin's Re-Quench Water Cream is a lightweight, oil free moisturizer with electrolytes, mineral rich water, and Hyaluronic Acid. Fruit and plant extracts contain trace elements of mineral salts that improve dry skin without leaving an oily residue.
Lancome's Hydra Zen Liquid Moisturizer is another lightweight option with 14 amino acids that hydrate and de-stress skin. It's formulated with Rose Extract and Aloe Vera, so this is a great moisturizer to use post-sun exposure.
Darphin's HYDRASKIN Light Gel Cream has been popping up on our timelines and Google searches so much we had to try it. It contains one of our favorite ingredients, Squalene, a fatty molecule in the skin. It maintains the moisture in your skin and creates a barrier to environmental damage. Cucumber and Kiwi extracts refresh and calm. We suggest giving yourself another massage during the moisturizer phase and this time focusing on relaxing your face muscles.
Tata Harper's Water-Lock Moisturizer is best for those with uneven texture. Orange peptides and pomegranate help form a barrier for a silicone-free smoothing effect. Macro hyaluronic acid fights dullness and delivers conditioning moisture that softens skin texture.
