Gentle Ingredients

The pH levels of your face are thrown off balance after each wash. Putting on a harsh serum at first might break you out more because of this, so you want to balance the pH level before you do anything else. Innisfree's Blueberry Rebalancing Toner is a moisturizing, pH restoring prep essence that is great for sensitive skin - it soothes and refreshes so that you can build out your routine without worry.

M-61's  Hydraboost Jelly Cleanse is an extremely gentle vegan jelly cleanser that hosts Vitamin B5 and Hyaluronic acid that plump and replenish skin's moisture levels. It won't dry you out like other cleansers, and it has peptides to firm and reduce fine lines. It's one of our favorite lightweight formulas and leaves our skin supple and plump.

If you have extremely sensitive and breakout-prone skin, Darphin makes a light, fast absorbing serum that penetrates 18 layers into the skin. The INTRAL Redness Relief Soothing Serum is incredible as it improves moisture levels by up to 247% and instantly quiets any discomfort or irritation sensitive skin may experience. It doesn't sit on the skin like a typical serum, and we prefer to use it before our oil phase.

Speaking of oil, that brings us to one of our favorite face oils - Symbiome's super lightweight Respond 004. It absorbs fast and leaves no greasy residue behind. It's great for acne-prone and problem skin, sensitive skin and hormonal skin. The best thing about it is that there's only three ingredients: Andiroba Oil, Sanoma Oil, and Buriti Fruit Oil.

Whalmyung's Minimal Encalming Capsule Skin Toner is a toner/serum fusion that is made with floral water and Azulene, both of which help soothe sensitive skin. Vitamin B5 strengthens the skin barrier and helps with irritation. If you don't want to use too many products, this two-in-one is also great right before the oil phase.
