"Best 2K I Ever Spent" How Celebrities Rang In 2011
Plenty of celebs ushered in the new year by raking in an over-priced appearance fee. Others just hit the club to have a good time. Take a look below to find out how your favorite stars, from Kim Kardashian to Sandra Bullock to Vampire Weekend, rang in 2011.

Kim Kardashian hosted the party at Tao in Vegas with her brother and a ton of paparazzi. She wore a Kim Kardashian dress paired with Kim Kardashian make-up and drank Kim Kardashian champagne. Well, not really. She did however, release a new song by The Dream. It is predictably terrible. The next time she'll play it on NYE will be in 2020 where she'll be paired with Heidi Montag and Countess Lu Ann De Lesseps for a catchy medley introduced by a hologram of Dick Clark.

Meanwhile, in another part of the Vegas strip, real music was being performed. Jay-Z and Coldplay brought out the A-listers with an event at the Cosmopolitan Hotel and Casino. Gwyneth Paltrow and Beyonce cheered on their husbands, and John Mayer joined Jay-Z for "99 Problems." A-Rod and Cameron Diaz snuggled, and J Lo and Marc Anthony posed and tried to maintain relevance. Ashley Olsen and Justin Bartha most likely sat in a corner making elitist comments and hating on everyone.
Kanye West also performed, offering up "Homecoming."

Rihanna showed up to fete Jay-Z later in the evening, but began her celebration at Pure Nightclub.

Diddy was also in Vegas, singing, bringing in 2011, and majorly promoting Ciroc by carrying a bottle around for most of the night at LAX nightclub inside the Luxor Hotel and Casino. He Smooth Talked the ladies stating, "Open toed shoes. If your feet are hanging over the front, it means your feet are too big." Such wisdom.

Poor, sad, tech-less Paris Hilton sat next to boyfriend Cy Waits during a party in Los Cabos and worried over where her lost phone might be. She Tweeted 'Sucks not having a phone on New Year's Eve. :( So since I can't text anyone. Just wanted to Twitter to you all HAPPY NEW YEARS! Love Paris.' And then she cried plastic tears.

In the most unlikely New Year's Eve coupling, Ryan Reynolds and Sandra Bullock met for dinner at Besse Bistro in Texas. Despite Sandra's outfit, it was not a costume-themed event. Not that it matters. The woman earned the right in 2010 to do whatever the hell she wants this year whether it be quit acting, or pursue a quiet existence with her new son, or dress like a flapper.

Ke-dollar sign-ha rode Santa Claus, hit an Easter Bunny pinata, and urged the crowd to “make 2011 our bitch!” during ABC's NYE broadcast in New York. When asked by Ryan Seacrest what her resolution is, she responded, “Not become a d—–bag.” Sorry, Ke$ha; you already failed.
Vampire Weekend stayed away from the madness and head to the U.K. to perform on Jools Holland's Hootenanny.

Meanwhile, Adrian Grenier used his fame to book his band The Honey Brothers at Good Units at The Hudson Hotel.
The winner of 2011 Ball Drop is Snooki. She received a ton of press when it was announced she would be enclosed in a glass hamster ball in Times Square. Though the event was moved out of the apex of NYE and to Seaside Heights, New Jersey, it still got plenty of viewers. Just watch how stylishly she rings it in. If plan on doing this next year, do it with a red plastic cup of booze!
