Bristol Palin And Levi Johnston's Engagement Announcement

Bristol Palin and Levi Johnston are thrilled to announce their engagement after three years of on-and-off dating. They were so ecstatic about their futures together they decided to inform US Weekly and therefore the world before any of their relatives. 

Ms.Palin, 19, is a single mother and a Teen Abstinence Ambassador and Spokesperson for the Candie's Foundation, teen pregnancy prevention organization. She also made a guest appearance on the ABC Family Show "The Secret Life of the American Teenager", which is basically a younger, more wholesome, Lifetime equivalent of her actual life.  After graduating from Wasilla High, little Trip Easton Mitchell Johnston took precedence over college.

She is the daughter of Sarah Palin of Wasilla, A.K and Todd Palin of Dillingham, A.K. The bride's father is an oil production operator for BP in the North Slope oil fields of Alaska. Her mother was vice presidential nominee of the Republican Party during the 2008 election and is sisters from another mister with SNL comedian Tina Fey.

Mr. Johnston, 19, is an aspiring model and actor with editorials in Playgirl Magazine. He has also been Kathy Griffin's fictional, short-term boyfriend for the Teen Choice Awards. Prior to making his appearance in the media spotlight, Johnston was one of Wasilla's finest kids. With almost a full eleventh grade education and a position on the varsity hockey team, it is no wonder Bristol couldn't resist him.

He is the son of Sherry Johnston and Keith Johnston of Wasilla, A.K. The bridegroom's mother is a convicted Oxycontin dealer and currently is in prison. His father is a construction engineer for ASRC Energy Services Inc in North Slope County, A.K. Both parents are said to be "thrilled" at the prospect of the wedding.
