He may have his hands full today as an actor-director-producer-writer - we’re exhausted just typing that! - but Chris Rock will always be a comedian at his core. All stand-ups have to get their start somewhere, and for Rock, that place was the Upper East Side’s own Comic Strip Live. The young funnyman bussed tables and tried out material at the still-existing comedy club, where he was eventually discovered by fellow legend Eddie Murphy. Check out one of their new talent shows to see some potential huge stars of tomorrow.
