The Girl In The Book starring
Emily Van Camp was in production but tight on cash (as many indie films tend to be). Director Marya Cohn and Emily Van Camp reached out to the Kickstarter community for help in June 2013. In the movie, Van Camp plays a young writer who is forced to face some disturbing aspects of her past. The campaign just reached its goal, but barely, with only $342 dollars to spare.

Goal: $65,000
Rewards: $10 for exclusive access to the "making-of" blog and $500 for a special thanks at the end of the film.
