Beyoncé Knowles & Jay-Z
Speaking of secret NYC weddings...
our favorite couple,
Beyoncé and
Jay-Z,
had a tiny wedding in Jay's Tribeca loft in 2008. The couple exchanged vows in front of 40 guests including Gwyneth Paltrow and
Kelly Rowland. All of the guests were asked to wear white.

No official wedding photos have been released, but Beyoncé is reported to have worn a long, white gown with a low v-neck and wide straps designed by her mother. She wore her hair half pulled back with white flower behind her ear. Jay-Z wore a black tuxedo. We don't need photos to prove that they looked beautiful. The only public photo that exists from their wedding is this one of flowers being dropped off at the loft.

The reception was held in the living room of the loft that had been decorated by florist Amy Vongpitaka, with 70,000 white dendrobium orchids from Thailand. Guests sampled appetizers like caviar, shrimp scampi, and fried chicken, followed by a seven-course dinner. In an attempt to keep the event as private as possible, most of the cooking was done by the couple and their family members. Beyoncé made Creole and Jay-Z's grandmother made oxtails.
The best part about their wedding? Their first dance was to "Crazy In Love," their first collaboration. Later, guests hit the dance floor and danced the night away (until 4:30AM!) to a set from
DJ Cassidy.
